as the sun fades down the sea,
the day fades to night
as the moon sets it's eyes on earth,
the wildlife dance in the cloak of darkness
between night and day
the twilight zone appears
short is it's period
fickle is the time
yet in such a short span of minutes
the well spent evenings keeping watch,
at the awe and beauty it eminates
the light spread in beautiful shades
all work cease for the few moments
enjoying the moments spent together
as the sun and moon greet each other in the heavens
so is the time spent together little
yet in the moments of liberation
from time and space
take joy in the time we have had
short and sweet is it
take pride in which you now have
cherish the people whom you love
cherish even more the people who love you
for their love may wane as your willfulness persists
