The Trip to Bali

Welcome welcome once again all ye who are patient and able....

this is about my trip to Bali... :) quite a few pix.. happy looking

Day 1

the trip to Singapore airport!!

woke up at 5am juz to get ready 2 go...

Changi Airport... looks ok, a lil old.. but not too shabby :)

then so... OFF to the airplane!! sucky new rule bout not being able to bring bottles, aerosol cans n other liquids above 100ml as hand carried luggage... so left quite a few things in the airport.. such as..... toothpaste, shampoo....

so anyways... there was great food too!

(much betta than China Airways' food)

so anyways.. reached Denpasar, Bali!

went to a temple called Uluatu Temple... it the place was juz so so awesome lo... loved the cliffs n stuff.. it just goes to show how great my God is... the beauty of the earth.. lolx

after visitin the place tot we got hungry n went to the beach for sum seafood!! YUMMMMMYY!!!

Day 2

went for a traditional dance thingy... didn't quite get the dance at all.. dunno wat they talking.. coz it was in balinese.. not bahasa indon...

so anyways... >> tt's the dance.. with monkey, lion (darong) n a few more characters...

we went to the silver shop... didn't take pics... coz it was all trademarked handicraft.. so kenot simply simply take pictures of their work... but their work was rrly rrly intricate n besides tt, it's ALL HAND MADE!!! friggin crazy lo.. i tink i'll go crazy b4 i can even finish a little bell.. so many little beads n stuff... it's rrly rrly very intricate...

oh yea.. went to a wood carving shop... GUESS WAT? they have carved WINKIES as bottle openers!!! what good aphrodesiacs for the ladies who have urges (i shall not go there)

ok ok... nuff bout the winkies... we went to Kintamani... near a volcano... active, but didn't erupt since 1994.. quite a long time.. so like can see trees growin on it already... the hill top was definitely cooling :)

so after goin uphill for so long... the van decided to go down into the coffee, vanilla n cocoa plantation... not gonna show pix bout tt coz it's a lil boring.. u can find coffee berries, vanilla leaves n cocoa fruit in the Malaysian stamps... so kinda unnecessary la huh.. HAHA

so anyways, kinda cool... saw an old man frying them coffee beans till they are roasted to wonderful smelling indocafe.. :)

after the plantation we went to Gua Gajah Temple...

hmm.. it's a cave, n it's for the God Ganesh the elephant.. so i guess, tt's why la...

the cave itself is not big lo... for ppl taller than me, beware!! duck when entering cave

ok by now u might b bored with my continuations.. coz my english is boring.. oh well, happy lookin at the pictures instead!! :D

then ok.. to the art house we go!!! eh, expensive stuff lo.. n like.. small kiddos in primary schools can draw much betta than me lo.. so nice.. HAHA

so i can only take pictures of unfinished artworks n not the finished ones that are ready to be sold...

they draw nice pictures.. but the finished work quite a lot of them have topless women in 'em.. then again all of the artists there are male... so i guess it makes sense?? i dunnno.....

Day 3

GOOD MORNING to a brand new day!!

went to the Turtle Island near Nusa Dua....

the turtles rrly cute.. love 'em lots!! endangered anyways.. so u gotta love 'em ryte? hahaha

then there was a tamed eagle too!

we went to Lake Beratan.. which was like 2 hours away from Nusa Dua..sit the van until butt ache sial..... the scenery was well... lake-ish lo.. HAHAHA dun need to show ba... juz tt the lake is big n is quite high up lo... so it's quite cooling =) coOL!

then there were ppl selling rabbits.. damn cute... then of coz they were selling rabbit satay too! urhhhh.... = = mayb tt's wat happens to them poor rabbits who aren't cute n cuddly enuff?

cruel world.. HAHA

lastly for the day, we went to Tanah Lot Temple... Tanah Lot doesn't mean the land is a lot...

the Floating temple!! well, it only looks floating when the tide is high.
