the singular noun

Boy, Girl, Shoe, Phone, Guitar, Life...

these are singular nouns
of course when they are singular nouns they are calculated in terms of the number... ONE, a.k.a. Numero Uno

so like....

the singularity can be a curse and a cure altogether.....

when it's a singular noun, things are easy to count, it's simpler and much less complicated...

when it's a singular noun, it retains it's original sound and spelling..

unlike the singular noun, a plural noun is harder....

e.g. words ending with '-f' or '-fe' normally becomes '-ves' as it turns into a plural.. or singular '-y' will become '-ies' when it is plural...

things certainly can get a little confusing n complicated for those who lack the experience...

some sad sad nouns are always meant to be left as a singular noun. for example, Gold, Silver, Sugar, Copper.... these are normally the better things in life isn't it? especially GOLD!!

other than being eternally single, there are other nouns which have irregular plurals... these words do not end with an '-s'... rather, the word itself changes..
for example, a plural for man is men... a plural for ox is oxen... a plural for die is dice....( bet lots of u didn't know that)

so anyways....

out with the gang

so okay i've been lazy n slacking off.. never touch this for quite a long time lo..

anyways, it's after A levels and the Sunway gang just came back from Redang with their nice fun experiences n stuff.. darn nice la to go out without parents or guardians.. WOHOO!! partay!!

so yea... Run Yan came to my place around say...10am? early ehh.. ahaha got a lil warmup before the rest came over... Yen Kai, Hang Tee n Jason... Jason was a member of Something's Wrong... but disbanded shortly after.. = = bummer

first things first, Jason n Hang Tee dig straight into my Yamaha... blessing it with musical treats... oh how they caress and held my guitar.. ahha jealous sial

so then... BADMINTON TIME!! but when we go there got ppl doin "lime lansing" i mean.. line dancing.. haha then we went back into the house... Hang Tee went to the piano and started pouring pure jazzy symphonies.. haha :) Hang Tee plays good jazz lo mind you....

so we had a few fun matches of badminton n realized all of us were getting old n rusty

LUNCH TIME!!! poor Yen Kai was havin a sore throat.. so we went to eat noodles instead of Mc Donalds... besides, Jason was wanting to get a trimmer tummy n stuff... =P jokin jokin
(i got to drive a Hyundai Accent.. WOHOO~~)

after lunch we went home for a while n then off to City Plaza! home to ping pong, futsal, basketball, pool, snooker n a lounge..

played pool n ping pong for a while.. ahaha... since losing to Rachel i feel like i super long no play pool ade lo... but today like i got a lil more back la... can break the balls a lil further... still working on the strength.... so like.. Yen Kai does engineering, Jason is thinkin of physics thingy, Hang Tee is in to aerospace engineering and Run Yan wanna b a physicist....
playing pool with them was a lil scary.. they got such good physics... Momentum in 2D.. HAAH
with a calculator n ruler, they might juz rule the pool world.. HAHA

okay... after doin all these it was kinda late liao.. so... go home lo.. =)

Melaka Trip

shortly after coming back from Bali i have decided to go Malacca to visit special Grace (perasan) n of course Alex =)

so okay... sat the bus to Malacca which took ard 2 and 1/2 hours to reach... then well, Grace sorta lost her way to Melaka Sentral so it took a lil longer time for her to reach... then well for me, going to Melaka Sentral was definitely my first.. was kinda unsure where i was in the complex coz it was a cross shaped building then dunno which is the entrance of exit...


so anyways, met Grace outside A&W... then we went on our merry way to Jonker Street to meet up with Alex.. gosh so long tym never see him oso macam never change much liddat =) can still recognize him lo.. hahaha we ate lunch in the commercialized, not-so-good ball ball chicken rice shop... >>>

so anyways, went to the normal tourist spots... Malacca is so so so HOT!!! i mean.. the weather...

after going to these places.. banyak hot laa!! went home to my good host, Grace's house to take a rest n wash up... ate dinner with the family too! =) i juz realized they dun eat rice.... or at least not tt dinner la.. anyways, after dinner we watched 'The Pursuit of Happyness'. It was a nice touching story... of personal struggles n strife...


later after the movie, Calvin, aka Grace's bf came to fetch us out for supper n oso dapao stuff for Grace's parents... Calvin's a nice guy.. took us to the nice places to eat... hahahah ate budget satay celup which is 30cents per stick...


DAY TWO


woke up early around 8am... went down the stairs n only see Grace's grandma downstairs... then i sat n drank milo while talkin to 'ah po'... then well, went out in Grace's car to fetch Calvin n went to Calvin's uncle's shop for sum Taiwan noodles... kinda nice. but i ate the spicy beef... darn it it's hot for me.. = =


then we went to Jonker Street for the second time....


went to Hotel Puri... it is on Billionaire street... the hotel is actually renovated from an old building which has hundreds of rooms.. it looks kinda cool la....


the chairs look like a matriach's chair n stuff.. olden nyonya stuff... =)


went to a few old shops to look around too.. then only i realized Malaccans may stay in Malacca n not go to these old shops....
i took some pix.. but not posting them coz lazy =)


so anyways, went back Grace's house to watch 300 =)
darn cool show lo... it's like.... wow.. haha
300 Spartans against 1million Persians....
i know Spartans are born to be champions without blemish, taken to the extremes... but the pictures in my mind were never portrayed like tt.. hahaha


evening came.. time to go Jonker Street for the THIRD TIME!! but of coz this time different la.. coz it's night time and it's livelier... =)

i didn't take pics coz enjoying myself quite a lot n besides, got lotsa ppl.. take pic oso take pics of ppl's heads.... ate n ate n ate la....


after Jonker street we went to Capitol Satay to eat the Malaccan famous Satay Celup.. it's so famous ppl wait in line juz to eat it....

later i tell u wat i ate on my eating trip....


THIRD, FINAL DAY!!
woke up later.... ard 10am or so... after hearing some shower noises from the toilet... then Grace's mom tot i was sick or sumthin.. so late onli wake up.. well, can't help if i slept real well ryte? ehhehehehehe

then well, we went to eat mee hoon koay, kon lo style.. aka dry oily style for you folks who dunno wat i'm talkin bout.... EEEKKKSS!!!
no wonder la JB has soup mee hoon koay onlyy.. hahaha

anyways, time to go back.. n Grace oh Grace... turned to drive in the opposite direction of the 1 way traffic.. good thing i'm not from Malacca... could see the drivers were rrly pissed n stuff lo... WHOOPSS

so anyways... bus time!!!

The Trip to Bali

Welcome welcome once again all ye who are patient and able....

this is about my trip to Bali... :) quite a few pix.. happy looking

Day 1

the trip to Singapore airport!!

woke up at 5am juz to get ready 2 go...

Changi Airport... looks ok, a lil old.. but not too shabby :)

then so... OFF to the airplane!! sucky new rule bout not being able to bring bottles, aerosol cans n other liquids above 100ml as hand carried luggage... so left quite a few things in the airport.. such as..... toothpaste, shampoo....

so anyways... there was great food too!

so anyways.. reached Denpasar, Bali!

went to a temple called Uluatu Temple... it the place was juz so so awesome lo... loved the cliffs n stuff.. it just goes to show how great my God is... the beauty of the earth.. lolx

after visitin the place tot we got hungry n went to the beach for sum seafood!! YUMMMMMYY!!!

Day 2

went for a traditional dance thingy... didn't quite get the dance at all.. dunno wat they talking.. coz it was in balinese.. not bahasa indon...

so anyways... >> tt's the dance.. with monkey, lion (darong) n a few more characters...

we went to the silver shop... didn't take pics... coz it was all trademarked handicraft.. so kenot simply simply take pictures of their work... but their work was rrly rrly intricate n besides tt, it's ALL HAND MADE!!! friggin crazy lo.. i tink i'll go crazy b4 i can even finish a little bell.. so many little beads n stuff... it's rrly rrly very intricate...

oh yea.. went to a wood carving shop... GUESS WAT? they have carved WINKIES as bottle openers!!! what good aphrodesiacs for the ladies who have urges (i shall not go there)

ok ok... nuff bout the winkies... we went to Kintamani... near a volcano... active, but didn't erupt since 1994.. quite a long time.. so like can see trees growin on it already... the hill top was definitely cooling :)

so after goin uphill for so long... the van decided to go down into the coffee, vanilla n cocoa plantation... not gonna show pix bout tt coz it's a lil boring.. u can find coffee berries, vanilla leaves n cocoa fruit in the Malaysian stamps... so kinda unnecessary la huh.. HAHA

so anyways, kinda cool... saw an old man frying them coffee beans till they are roasted to wonderful smelling indocafe.. :)

after the plantation we went to Gua Gajah Temple...

hmm.. it's a cave, n it's for the God Ganesh the elephant.. so i guess, tt's why la...

the cave itself is not big lo... for ppl taller than me, beware!! duck when entering cave

ok by now u might b bored with my continuations.. coz my english is boring.. oh well, happy lookin at the pictures instead!! :D

then ok.. to the art house we go!!! eh, expensive stuff lo.. n like.. small kiddos in primary schools can draw much betta than me lo.. so nice.. HAHA

so i can only take pictures of unfinished artworks n not the finished ones that are ready to be sold...

they draw nice pictures.. but the finished work quite a lot of them have topless women in 'em.. then again all of the artists there are male... so i guess it makes sense?? i dunnno.....

Day 3

GOOD MORNING to a brand new day!!

went to the Turtle Island near Nusa Dua....

the turtles rrly cute.. love 'em lots!! endangered anyways.. so u gotta love 'em ryte? hahaha

then there was a tamed eagle too!

we went to Lake Beratan.. which was like 2 hours away from Nusa Dua..sit the van until butt ache sial..... the scenery was well... lake-ish lo.. HAHAHA dun need to show ba... juz tt the lake is big n is quite high up lo... so it's quite cooling =) coOL!

then there were ppl selling rabbits.. damn cute... then of coz they were selling rabbit satay too! urhhhh.... = = mayb tt's wat happens to them poor rabbits who aren't cute n cuddly enuff?

cruel world.. HAHA

lastly for the day, we went to Tanah Lot Temple... Tanah Lot doesn't mean the land is a lot...

the Floating temple!! well, it only looks floating when the tide is high.
