hello out there to anyone who even clicks on this site.

i've not been blogging at all for the past... 3mths or so..

well so here are the updates to my life.

had a great holiday because:

- eat, sleep, shit

- CIP trip to Philippines

- Summer school at Korea University

- go find friends

having a decent school life because:

- Navs exco

- NUS windsurf exco

- staying in a double room but a single person (me)

- 3 core mods only

yeah...

mid terms just past, so i guess that gives me more reason to rejoice? haha

the narrow path

i strut on the stage.

i play the loudest when i'm alone.

i scream for attention the minute i lose it.

i run to crowds when left out.

i make myself visible.

i make myself colourful.

i make myself bold.

i lose myself.

it is history in the making.

or is it history repeating itself.

or am i just lost in the carnal

or does the nearer flame heat me up faster

i want to hide.

i want to go back to my comfort.

i want to shift back to neutral gear.

i want to pull back into warmth and security.

i want status quo.

i am unsure.

i made my choice.

day to Geylang

DISCLAIMER: NO GIRLS WERE GROPPED IN THIS PERIOD OF TIME

okay anyways, it was a nice saturday and Sarah asked me if i wanted dinner with a few other people, i was like "yeah, sure. call Yang too yeah"

then when we met up at Aljunied MRT, i was pretty shocked by the sheer number of people waiting outside the MRT station... around 20 odd people from the Student Exchange Programme (SEP) from all over the world. While we were walking towards our destination, we were happily chit-chatting and stuff and we went pass this street which had a chinese procession going on right at that time.. many idols were in place, 4 tall "moving gods" were walking around. i was suspecting one of them was the "suei" god, it had ugly features, long tongue and white robes.. the procession was rather long, with lots of clanging of cymbals, beating of drums and stuff like they normally do in CNYs. we stood around to watch for a while while the SEP students were talking pictures of it coz it's their first time seeing this kind of things...

so anyways, we went on our way to the frog porridge stall. on the way i could see people staring at us, i think it's coz there are a significant amount of ang mohs in our midst... not a norm in Geylang? i dunno... well when we reached the frog porridge stall, we could just see the gleam on the boss' face as we all sat down. he was recommending this, and that, and that, and how about another thing, bla bla bla... so in the end we had a big pot of porridge, smaller pots for the frogs legs.

if you have not tried frog's legs before, they are rather smooth in texture and soft. easy to chew, even softer than chicken.

as i was saying, while we were still eating, another bunch of around 10+ SEP students came to join us. WOWS~ at that time the whole place was packed with a class full of ang mohs and exchange students!! ahaha so after frog porridge, me and some people went to the beef koay teow shop right across the street, mmm.... koay teow... mmm.... fried oyster... haha

anyways, the rest of them went babe watching after having our meal whilst me and Kara, Sarah, Sara and Yang went to find a lil keychaing thingy which Sarah lost so we kinda missed the babe watching and also the durian fest after that... i was hoping to see how their faces would squirm and cringe at the sight and smell of durian and even tasting it. oh well, at least i had fun eating in Geylang and stuff...

so anyways, i suppose this has really been awfully quiet right... well, been doing stuff you see... assignments, tutorials, Navigators, BizAd, Crusades, Church... haha

i suppose i've not been juggling really well la... slacking off.. n i'm just in my 2nd semester. lol

anyways, i'm so hoping for the holidays la!

things i'm going to do this summer:-
- gonna try out pedals n buy 'em if they're good
- gonna go to Philippines for a community service trip
- gonna go to Korea for a summer programme
- gonna go with Melvyn n Ding n Allen n prolly WQ to i don't know where
- meeting my biggest fan if it's possible...

wish list:-
- next AY gonna have fresh blood in Navs for a band! (:
- do tutorials promptly after taught
- do more exercises
- read more interesting stuff

oh so this is the trip me and my friends had on a wonderful tuesday where there were NO CLASSES!

so anyways, Singapore Zoo here we come!

upon walking near the tiger trek, a tiger pounced at me! i grabbed it by the paw and nose and threw it off its feet.

Lastly to make the crowds happy, i pulled off a stunt with a croc to show how good i was to animals (:

never take croc skins! only buy Croc sandals! ugly but comfy.. haha

Long Break

okay yes i have been taking a break from typing la...
been back for the holidays and some know that when i'm back i'll just completely heck care about the internet including emails and other things.
sorry...
